How badly he wanted to take his son's phone, and smash it on the kitchen counter. He could hear the screen cracking and little flakes of glass falling all over the floor. He would finally be free from the constant monotonic sounds of youtubers talking loudly and obnoxiously, one after the other without a break. He longed to talk with his son, just him and he, without those youtubers around.   He grabbed the phone as his son was clinching to it. "Give me the phone, son" His son's face stayed glued to the screen, as he asked: "Can I watch 5 more minutes dad?" "Sure son, 5 more minutes." 

By Jeffrey Star Charlie Davidson liked his fair share of sports and video games but there was 1 thing that he loved most in the world; reading.  Charlie loved reading. He had read all the classics Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and others but what he loved most of all were short stories by O. Henry. Books were his only way to get away from it all and his favorite place to read was on the green bean bag chair in the school library where he had the best school librarian Ms. Jessie.  If she wasn’t the school librarian he didn’t know what he would do. This is where we start now. Charlie is about to get horrible news.  Charlie had blindly walked into the library, “Hello Ms. Jesse” he called.
